This is what I had Paul work on last weekend. An armoure (Ok, I don't know how to spell it) anyways a dresser/closet for Tory's room. I already had 2 shutters that I had found at the DI for $5 and so I came up with this idea. She can fit her dress-up clothes and shoes and coats in it and now I want one in every room of my house! I'm so jealous:)
So I have been looking on pinterest (my newest website for decorating ideas) and I came across this picture with a cute bench under an island instead of stools and I loved it. So of course I had to have Paul make one for me.
And here is my version... obviously not quite the same and the sewing isn't quite as professional as I would like:) Hey it took me 4 hours to sew this because my first time trying to sew a yellow material for this turned out like crap so this one I had to take my time on it so it wouldn't look like you know what! Anyways Paul did a very good job and I told him that he now has to build me a ton of furniture:) Yay for him!

So I know it's out of order, I don't know how it happens... anyways I have been working on these this week. This bookcase was in my Grandparents house and then I have had it ever since we got married and it was just a cream color. So I decided to antique it more and add doors with chicken wire instead of glass or whatever. I think this is my new favorite piece. The bench is one that I already had, I just added the back and side parts, it's not the same color because I need to go get the matching one but it will do for now:)
